The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

125A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dhikola, trained by John S. O'Donoghue, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have grazes to both hind pasterns but to be otherwise post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards informed M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer, that Celeron (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Dhikola, trained by John S. O'Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got unbalanced in the first half of the race, did not move great and was eased.

125B Flower Hill Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Whatswrongnow, ridden by J. S. Dalton, and Platino Bianco, ridden by A.S. Grant, where it appeared Whatswrongnow had to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Hannah Rafferty, rider of Dinamine, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount was slowly into stride.

J.S. Dalton, rider of Whatswrongnow, trained by Batt Burke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he took a precautionary check.

125D Cusack Hotel Group Family Day July M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired from D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Ennoble, who was unseated after leaving the stalls. D. Browne McMonagle stated that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls. Having considered the matter and viewed a recording of the race, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

A.C. Persse, rider of Auguste Gusteau, trained by M.A.Cahill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly impeded at the start.

W.J. Lee, rider of Allirelandmaterial, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly impeded at the start by the loose horse.

125E Round O H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Midnight Dusk (GB), trained by Jack Foley, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

125F Irish Stallion Farms EBF Yeats Stakes

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Asakir, ridden by B.M. Coen, and Trojan Fighter (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee where it appeared Trojan Fighter had to momentarily check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. J. Lee stated that his race was run and he took a precautionary check. B. M. Coen stated that his mount was very green and darted left when the horse beside him dropped away but he pulled his whip through and straightened as soon as he could. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

125G Royal County H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Madbadanddangerous, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

After the running of race one the official going description was changed to yielding

Following the late arrival of the IHRB Medical Officer, which contributed to a 53 minute delay to the off time of race one, the Raceday Stewards referred the matter to a Senior Racing Official for further investigation.
